Self-Portrait Series Reflection (01-C): September 07, 2012
1. They all revolve around my world, from my day beginning, to the end of my day. My strong point would be a nice flow to the photos that is easy to follow.
2. I could have gotten a bit more variety to my photos, they tend to be a bit dull. I also needed to get done sooner and more refined.
3. The theme to my Timeline would be my daily life, It starts with me then it shows my busdriver. Photos of my school life follow, with my home life and the people there waiting for me are there.
4. Most of the colors in my pictures are brightly lit, but most of the colors of the subjects/objects tend to be more subdued.THE
5. My Timeline's rhythm is my life, it starts with me, then school, then the time I spend at home and the people I spend that time with.
6. I've learned that I live a very slow subdued life, this suits me however. I'm much better at taking pictures of landscapes, than people. I've learned that I need to be more punctual.
7. My process was I was going to take pictures of around the school, then around my house. I took most of my pictures on a whim, very few of my pictures were thought out, only ones of my house.
8. This is an excellant project. It allows people to show what their lives are like and allows for easy thought over how you want to do it. perhaps create an online alternative to paper timelines. And if not that perhaps you could create a different paper style to use.
